The Radiology Center Baden offers you precise and gentle pain therapies at the respective site of the illness. We carry out pain therapies for painful joints as well as for the spine.
Joints can be infiltrated under fluoroscopy with local anesthetics, cortisone or as part of autologous blood therapy (Orthokine), i.e. the substances are injected directly into the joint by the doctor. We use CT-guided pain therapy in particular for painful diseases of the spine.
CT-guided pain therapy is used, for example, for herniated discs or severe irritation of the small vertebral joints (so-called facet joints). Precise imaging in the computer tomograph enables us to identify the exact position of the affected region and treat it specifically at the site where the pain originated.
Depending on the location of the pain and the individual needs, we use different methods and medications: cortisone (Kenacort) and bupivacaine (an anesthetic).
Our team of experienced radiologists will be happy to assist you and answer your questions. We are here to help you.
